EVENT DAY INFO:

WRISTBANDS - Your wristband (obtained at the registration booth) allows you to come and go from the event as you please for the entire day of events.

NAME TAGS - There is a name tag creation booth near the registration booth where you can either use your actual name or a user name as you wish as well as use the stickers provided for pronouns or write in whatever your heart desires.

FOOD AND DRINK - GVSU does not allow outside food or alcohol in the convention space. There are plenty of places to meet up and eat within walking distance of the convention center. A coffee and water station will be set up to provide energy and hydration.

CASH - If you are registered then you can attend the event and enjoy most of the day’s events and giveaways. Some of the sponsor events may require additional costs, and some of the vendors may not take CC payments. It might be a good idea to bring a little cash.

LAST CALL FOR GAMING - While the event ends at 9pm we are supposed to be fully cleared out of the space by 10pm plan the start times of your games accordingly. We would hate to cut anyone off but rules are rules.

STAFF - “The Management” will be on site for the entire duration of the event (Jeff, Keven, and Dan). There will be several other volunteers as well. We will do our best to make sure that staff are easy to recognize.

BACKPACKS/GAME BAGS - While our convention space isn’t massive, you will want the ability to purchase and carry games or crafted items. We also encourage you to bring in any games that you have been itching to get to the table.

FAMILY FRIENDLY - While “family friendly” is a difficult standard to identify we ask all attendees to be aware of their surroundings and considerate of the littles who come out to the event.

EVENTS/GIVEAWAYS - We will have a microphone and will do our best to make sure everyone is kept in the loop throughout the day.
